if anyone looking to share a double room in 3-4 minutes walking distance "Radisson Blu Riverside"?

there are already few of us that will be staying there, and one more friend is looking to book it, and since double room vs single is just 10euros more, it will be around 45-50 euros per person per night if someone is willing to share a double room. (needed to be booked in next 7 days to get this price).

he's married, have kids = serious person, so you don't need to worry for yourself. :)) as the bonus, he's one of the gfx guys from the rebels "golden days", with few of his logos even ended up in legendary Rebels Megademo 2 (and several other Rebels productions).

and, not to forget, that's almost 2x cheaper that much further "Hotel11" that was suggested at datastorm website.

if interested, drop a line here or contact me at temporarily email address: ds2014hotelshare@cyberlabs.net , so I can forward you his contacts.

Will there be remote entries? I haven't found that on the site yet.

I don't think Datastorm accepts remote entries.

You have to be at the party.

Definitely a "be there or be square" kind of event. :)
@sigflup: this will be my first (and last) datastorm, so don't know if someone at the party can submit it in your name.

if someone that knows how it works (corial, h0ffman,...) confirms that this is an viable option, I can submit it for you.

just don't expect me to bring megadrive myself as I'll be flying there, and already found out (the hard way) that organisers aren't too helpful with providing the hardware you need.
e.g. I'll probably drop PSX release (lame anyway), cause I wont be able to bring everything by myself (amiga, monitor, laptop, PSUs, PSX, ...).
in addition, you would also need a flash cart for megadrive (that I don't have), so maybe to leave the release for next party? (e.g. revision is only two months away).

anyway, if you think of something and just need someone there, let me know.

Well music and graphics compos, the artist has to be there. The music compos are on Friday night but if you can't make it there for Friday then you can send your entry in remotely. However if you don't turn up on Saturday, your entry will be disqualified.

For demos I believe at least one contributing artist needs to be there, at least that was the case when I went in 2012 and we entered a Revision invite.

I think we'll just pouet release. thank you though bonefish!!! I really appreciate it

Sigflup,
You can just add bonefish in credits as support or something like that
and he could enter it since he will be at the party and he's mentioned in the credits.
I think that would fly.

Unless they read what you just wrote.

I don't think they care too much about that. More entries = better compo. But bonefish still have time to contribute something to that prod, even if its something small.

just what I wanted to say... give me a megadrive toolchain! it will be a on-flight last minute party coding. ;))) is it a SGDK or there is something better?

yet, there is still an issue with presenting a release on real hardware. I would probably be able to get megadrive, but everdrive (or any flashcart) is a different story. unless someone that has it is coming to datastorm?

bonefish, I could bring an everdrive cartridge!

On a similar note, does anyone have an Atari 2600 flash cart? I ordered one, but I'm afraid it won't turn up before the party.

linde, that's perfect!!!
let's see what sigflup will decide.
I can bring a megadrive (one more piece of hardware won't kill me), so we can have a fun with sigflup release at the party. :))

btw, sorry not to have a2600 flash cart, but there are few visitors that could have it.

i'm sure the DS boys would love to have it, just needs a courier credit ;)

sigflup, i have a nice megadrive song (tfm format) that you can use if you want. then this would all be totally 1000% legit!
