99% of the Amiga demos runs in 50FPS :)
Bummer...

fra, using a simple 50 to 60 fps interpolation blending frames, makes a little blur, but it's ok IMHO.
I used avisynth to see 24fps movies on a 60hz monitor

Using this simple script

Code:AssumeFPS (24) Convertfps (60)

The quality was ok, was much better then watching the movie directly at 24Hz (on a 60hz monitor the movie was always "jumping")

I'm quite sensitive to framerates.
Great Paulo! I enjoyed it like if it was 1993 again :D

What's the raving about. I thought practically all relevant DOS era demos were 70 fps, and Amiga demos are 50 fps. Some flatscreen displays can be tuned to those rates, but it requires hacking and on many displays it just won't work.

Yea I mean it's not like you can make videos out of anything else.

I was commenting the "1993 again" thing. For that you need two CRT monitors, one for Amiga and another for PC demos.

I made a temporary youtube channel where I uploaded all videos again to enable reprocessing for 60 fps.
There you can watch the videos at 60 fps until the previous uploaded videos in the normal channel are upconverted.
You can find it here http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCm7iR0Kcp4VfmzWDEfHIqMg
A few videos are still processing...

Wow, that's a lot of videos :P
Actually, apparently there is 50 fps support, such as in this C64 capture:

Pah, the higher frame rate makes everything look like cheap home video and destroys the superiour "youtube look".

60fps videos are glorious... but totally forgot that 60fps was a shitty flickery mess on CRTs back in the day.

Now there's a whole bullshit argument about 30fps games... that's progress for you.

Good stuff. Total CPU, but I guess this will get better over time. Demos looks really good on 60fpstube.
