CPU's have too many transistors these days. You kids don't know how easy you have it. ::waves fist in air::
Scream Tracker's "gold" background color looks better than Impulse Tracker's.

No one actually listens during music compos. It's just background ambience and name voting.
You can only hope that at least someone listen to it during the pre-selection phase! :D

There is not enough proper techno in demos.

I've never thumbed any production down, because it gives me no pleasure whatsoever to tell people how much I hate their demo.

I think many demoparties would be better if they replaced non-compo events with downtime.

Creating so called Noise-demos was a, unjustified, hype.

name voting and self-voting are normal practice and an age-old part of the scene,

Doesn't mean such behaviour cannot change for the future. Just saying things should stay the way they are just because is a pretty crappy way of looking at many things.

I guess it will get me banned saying, but hardware based DRM on demotools shows a complete lack of confidence in your product. I would have thought that enough companies/corporations would be enough to finance it to not need such measures. Just like WinRAR which has a tons more simplistic license scheme.

I guess another unpopular opinion is I truly dislike the binary nature of pouet. It would be nice to get decent constructive feedback on prods rather than mostly one liners, like "it sucks".

Would be nice if that happens.

Fast thumbs down are weak and generally ridiculous. Long word-count piggies are stronger and sometimes serious.

TV Noise Demos for the win!
It would be neat if there was a stronger American scene, but we probably wouldn't do it right anyway, so maybe it's for the best.
BreakDecks,

It wouldn't be only neat if there was a stronger American (continent) scene; it would not hurt at all if the 'Americas scenes' would set a mark to poor and cheap 'culture'. hands off..

greetings from old europe!
