As you can see the news on the front page is back.
This is because https://news.scene.org/ is now a thing which is a replacement for what OJ and then Bitfellas used to be, a centralized news source/aggregator for all things demoscene - there's an RSS feed but also a JSON one if that's what you prefer.
If you run a site that has any degree of (English!) news feed (demoparties especially! but demogroups too), consider adding an RSS feed and letting me know, so that i can add it for ingestion - that way you never have to bother crossposting since it'll just get frontpaged.

In the customizer, it looks like the "news!" block isn't added to the list. And the one called "news box" is old and doesn't work. I had to reset the customizer settings. The News block is now there.

This is great! Funnily enough I made a browser extension to do the same thing but I'm glad it's redundant now. :D
Gargaj: I'm assuming 0b5vr means adding a thumbnail to a news item so that it may be displayed in the RSS feed.
