WE HAD GREAT FACTORIES!

soviet futurism and avantgarde is really great..

almost all the most beautiful factories in Riga were built in soviet times.. also the way CCCP functioned was in a way really great. they were not caring about outfit and non important things.. while europe seems to be so sterile and fr oriented (consuming consuming consuming - but back then we got the money but we didnt get the goods aye more space for your mind)..

i was intending to write something clever but countless guys ran in during my writting and i lost the point. these guys were betatesters of my new weed supply and if you find my point please point it in my direction..

stefan u have no clue what we had and got now and there was great dose of communism, really noble and really cosy too.. you couldnt go down unless you really wanted to (but most never gave a fuck except conflicts with russians)..

Ah, Bhead, I should speak english more often :) OK, to everybody: release your demos at russian parties. Our scene is raising up. We have no dictature, we have no KGB, we almost have no Mafia. A lot of people have no money, but our demoscene is raising up. :) Anyway Russia is not so bad, as you think :)

Hmm, aint the Paradox party in Rostov-on-Don, and i guess thats near Rostov. Thats not far from Azerbadsjan. We are almost talking about the middle-east here :)

Rostov-on-Don is not near Rostov (Rostov is near Moscow, while Rostov-on-Don is like a 22hrs train ride from Moscow), it's actually a 'capital' of North-Caucasus region, which is pretty close to that rebel Chechen Republic. R-o-D is notorious for being a point where they send all those 'cargo-200' (aka dead bodies of soldiers) for later identification and stuff.
but that's still not big enough reason for not visiting a russian party, eh? 8) or at least submitting something.. 8))

WE WANT TO

STERIALIZE

THE POP-
UPLATION
I think, that some people, who lives in foreign contries think, that if we said "close to Chechnya" then it realy close. No. Russia is so fukkin big, that "close" for us is something like 10h by train or something like this. Rostov-on-don is nice city, I was there and there weren't soldiers on the streets or something like this. BTW, now even in Chechnya life becomes better. War is almost over. Only single incindents take place.

ps: ...and what you think about Moscow? It's not so far from SPb, and train tickets are very cheep for Europeans, I think. i.e. Aurora will bring you from SPb to Moscow for 5.5hrs and only for 20 euros. Is it nice reason to make a demoparty in Moscow? :)

2 All: Hey, we talkin about Russia. But the main question was: "Would you like to release your production at russian parties?" :) So, what you think about it? :)

If I had enough money, was alone, free, independent and cool enough, I wouldn't care and I would love to come over Russia too.

But the last time, I told my parents I will go to France for a CPC meeting, they badly dissagreed, saying that they will not leave me to spend money travelling just for one demoparty of 3 days, it was a not serious reason to travel and stuff you know ;P

And my only close opportunity to meet foreign sceners at demoparties, is the Erasmus thing I was talking you for ages. Tomorrow, I might learn whether and for which place I got selected, and my parents won't disagree with this travel I beleive.

After that, when finishing the university, studying or getting a job outside somewhere around Europe, I will do what I never could. Travel as far as I can, as much as I want, in as many demoparties I like. Then, they will say I never growed up but who cares ;P

Damn! You can't meet the scene if you haven't travelled abroad to meet the people!!!

Optimus: Just go for Interrail. Even if I'm nowadays bored to death of trains one month for touring in Europe is worth a try. Also if you travel from one demoparty to another you don't have to care about finding proper places where to sleep. :)

But back to the original topic; Russian sceners, you should advertise your parties more. Especially St. Petersburgh is also only 5.5h away from Helsinki by train and I know lot of Finnish sceners that would be interested in attending a Russian party. Somehow we've just always missed them, noticing afterwards from Scene.org that there was some Russian party again somewhere. :)

i heard some rumours of some finns planning to go to this demoparty in kazan, couple weeks after asm this year. could be interesting.
dont think i'll bother even going to asm this year though, am kinda tired of summer trips by now..

but anyways, the downside of travelling to russia afais is needing to get a visa as oposed to the rest of EU countries. i dont even have a clue if i need one or where i could get it.

russian parties beeing properly preannounced on ojuice could help get some more foreigners there.
i wouldnt mind going there sometime atleast, seems like nice country to me, and its alot cheaper then northern/central europe. :)
