Yeah, those Xbox360s and PS2s and high end PCs look real fancy, but the best machine ever is so obviously the Nintendo64. Let this kid explain why...

Kinda reminds me of when I got my first Amigo!
btw did anyone get excited when they got their first PC? For me it was a kinda "Oh well, Amiga is dead, I'd better buy a PC" attitude.
"Yay I can play Test Drive now!!!"

I was kind of waiting for him to drop it on the floor and break it or something. That'd been fun.

When I got my first Atari 800 XL at 6 years of age, I didn't react at all, just asked myself "how do these people (scientists!!!) make these games?" and focused on the subject, leaving undigital world behind...

When I got my first PC at 14 years of age, I just asked myself "Now they have xx times faster machines but this landscape (comanche) is not smooth enuf on a 80386 family machine. Why?".

Greetings to No Name for this.

when i first got my atari st on christmas 91 or so the powerlead was broken so i had to wait until boxing day to play outrun!
same thing here. I got my first PC on easter '90, and they had 'forgotten' to install a vga card. I had to wait for another week or so to marvel at mode $13 graphics. ( I had spent my life so far in the paletted (but so cozy) world of C64).

When I've got my new C64 (the old one got crashed) I've screamed: "HELLO! IT'S ME YOUR NEW FRIEND"
When I've got P200mhz+Voodoo1: "Geeez, now I can play Turok and Q2 and Unreal and Shogo and Blood 2 and Incoming and G-Police and..."
