- a quick win for the rhythm guitar part would be to synthesize another sample for the palm muted hits... it's more of a difference than just a shorter adsr envelope. i'd play around with some lowpass filtering.
you could also try synthesizing a "pluck" sound of the plectrum striking the strings and layer that over the main string tone. also note that a real guitarists will never strike all the strings at quite the same time, try to introduce a slight delay for the higher strings. - isokadded on the 2014-09-25 15:26:54
