- demo Atari Falcon 030 E.X.Illusion by Aura
- displaying 200 word german poems (10 secs long ;)) doesn't help...and it's slow experience... but i really fucking love this demo! i think the music is cool! the 3d is stylish, abstract, and does match the general vibe of this demo. i especially love the metronomes and the exploding 'maze'. the unlimited gouraud shape was also cool. hhhmm, what happened to demos like this??
also i must stress the code quality. for instance the dsp 3d transforms were some of the best i've seen. it's a shame the dsp multitask wasn't stable, but at least they found out everything theirselves, including the dsp modplay and 3d engine.
both in terms of style and in terms of code this demo has always been underrated. time to change this! =) - rulezadded on the 2005-02-03 21:14:03
- demo Atari Falcon 030 atari behn by Ephidrena

- demo Atari Falcon 030 Revertant by Cobra
- let me rephrase that a bit.
i want to point out that 3d isn't everything (certainly not if it's just static stone henge type scenes). the style is of course very much ripped from pc. it's not original at all.
but, i want to stress that it was a brave move from winio and folks to bring it to the falcon. cheers for that.
there, hope that clears things up...

- demo Atari Falcon 030 Revertant by Cobra
- the (in)famous 3d demo on falcon. it's in some ways a step forward, and in terms of code a massive step back. the graphics are nice. scenes are also well done (for those days on falcon). music is cool, but in low quality.
it was slagged into the ground by loads of coders, including me, i must admit. in retrospect, i must still give winio credit for trying such complex screens. nobody else did that in those days. cheers. :) - isokadded on the 2005-02-03 20:57:35
- demo Atari ST Demounstures by TOS-Crew
- nice one. i second havoc's thoughts on this demo. i won't run this demo too often, especially since it contains a lot of stuff seen before in earlier productions. but... omikron rules! =)

- demo Atari Falcon 030 _ by Escape [web]
- great falcon demo by escape in style of hhhmm. i especially like no's 'block' blur and ofcourse charon's flapping bee is cool!
505's soundtrack is techno with just a drop of industrial and match the visuals in every respect.
overall the demo is shorter than hhhmm but the style and effects are more varied. i love this one! :)) - rulezadded on the 2005-01-27 23:51:37
- demo Atari STe Atari Falcon 030 Grotesque by Omega
- my fave demo for a very long time!! obviously inspired by amiga techno demos. but this one is really well done with -loads- of 1 plane animations and 50 fps polys flying over the screen. also love the way they used front242's "punish your machine".
there's also a falcon version in which some bigger objects are shown at the end.

- 96k Atari STe French Kiss by MJJ Prod [web] & Cerebral Vortex [web]
- gfx=good! code=yawn. it's brave to use modplay and open borders, but nothing happens on screen. nothing to write home about.
