• 2 years later, there's now a final version of this intro.
  
  I originally ended up going back to this intro last (2017) summer doing some "technical improvements" to the rendering. I put off releasing it then because I wasn't sure if the changes were good enough. This week I dug up the project again and did some further touches to the cameras and edit. The changes shouldn't be too radical, but here they are.
  
  
  
  • The glossy reflection is much nicer looking now
    
  • There's a bit of post processing
    
  • A couple issues with the geometry addressed, some animation added
    
  • Camera movement in a couple shots made nicer, one shot added
    
  • There's a 4x super sampled variant available (recommended)
    
  
  All these changes fill up the 4096 bytes much more tightly than the sloppy original version. I hope the reader finds it all adds to an overall more enjoyable experience!

• Didn't take too long (thanks msqrt). Just put "$(SolutionDir)" under your VC++ Executable directories in the configuration settings.

• The link.exe trick doesn't seem to work in Visual Studio 2017 anymore. It didn't work on my previous Win7 installation, and not on Win10 either. Crinkler is just ignored entirely without getting invoked and VS uses the default linker. Anyone else had this? Any solutions?

• Looked weird in the compo due to the projector, but now I understands the colors and shading better! Good design. Someone take the preset away from shaiggon.

• A bit too out there tbh. I don't get what each of these parts are supposed to be together, and individually they're too messy to pick apart either. All the processing laid on top doesn't help here.
