- demo Windows escalator by Pipidemic
- Would be nice as a screensaver. For a demo it's to chilly for me

- thom: Which all can be "simulated" with triangles a lot faster and nicer. Sorry to say, but I think using raytracing this way isn't making any sense

- rocker! though it looks not so polished on the monitor than it did on the bigscreen.

- demo Windows fr-minus-06: ghettorocker by Farbrausch [web]
- Well, funny for the first 1 or 2 minutes, but after that it repeats way too much, so only a pig

- Crest:
The point is: There is nothing going on in the scenes
The scenes for themselves are mostly boring, except for the church and the organ
Flyby after flyby is not too exciting
All of this could've been done on an accelerator with doubled image quality and about 5 times the speed.
Where are all those things that can only be done with raytracing?
Despite the big "software rendering" bonus it has not much to offer
Sorry, if I did sound too harsh in my first comment - isokadded on the 2003-04-23 09:03:41
- demo Windows fr-025: the.popular.demo by Farbrausch [web]
- Very very classy look and feel. Wow for that!
Down: This music is way to positive/gay/disco for me.
But overall a very nice demo with some neat allusions to other fr demos/intros.
Very nice - rulezadded on the 2003-04-23 08:59:32
- demo Windows relais by kolor [web]
- This definitely should've won. Those animations rock, the scenes are extremely detailled and the whole feeling is just great Jules Verne stuff. Wow!
Downside: PLEASE consider a Radeon fix!!! - rulezadded on the 2003-04-23 08:56:45
- demo Windows SquoQuo's Mansion by SquoQuo [web]
- We've experienced major quality problems with some driver's settings.
Always set the "Texture Quality" in your graphics card's driver to "Highest Quality" (this is *always* recommended). Otherwise the card will reduce the color depth of textures internally. This leads to heavy artifacts and color bleeding as the demo heavily relies on feedback effects.
If you don't like the feedback effects overall or you've got <600MHz and <Geforce/Radeon card please consider checking the "No feedback" option - isokadded on the 2003-04-23 08:51:40
