• This could be really something, but there is one crucial ingredient missing: A character centric demo needs decent character animation. I'm not sure if this is a technical problem (re-inventing everything on linux again?) or an artistic issue, either way, it destroys a lot of potential.
  
  But still, it was one of the best entries in this years' ASM demo compo.

• They really like to follow in HBC's footsteps, but they can't pull it off just yet. Everything feels a little awkward (timing, story, character animation) and not quite right. Maybe they just ran out of time. Last year's entry was much better.

• Felt a lot like a disjointed effect/design compilation, but the mario/subway parts were pretty cool.

• At first it looked like something relatively mediocre, but as the show went on and on (clocking in at ~13 minutes or so), it felt rather good for being yet another oldskool throwback demo.

• I wish there would be a little more than 'just' the plain architecture (a statue perhaps? vehicles?), but either way, this is pretty damn good stuff.
