- Technically I do not think there is much to say. It's fast, models and textures are detailed, good animation engine, demo effects (particles, watter) are incorporated into the 3d world... ok.
But for me it's not a demo.
It more looks like the beggining of half life game, but presented in a very long and boring way.

- 4k Commodore 64 6502 by Arise
- Hum, nice, but I prefer my own version of the Windows 95 logo:

(and at least I have the color cycling in the bottom :p )

- demo Atari ST Cuddly Demos by The Carebears [web]
- My fave screen in that demo is the one by An Cool (well, I usually don't like what he has done :), with the scrappy scroller, the moving carpet and huge vector balls moving around... and also the reset demo that is really great :)
Please note that the picture I used in my rotozoomer in the STNICCC2000 oric demo was ripped from the intro of this demo :)
[Except that I replace the "did he say Amiga" by "did he says C64"]

- demo Atari ST Ooh Crikey Wot A Scorcher by The Lost Boys
- Clearly, the Oh Crikey is one of the best demo ever made on the Atari. Instead of purely technical effects, there is a lot of research in both graphical and sound department. And remark that the musics were made specialy for the demo: no ripping !

- demo Atari ST Odd Stuff by Sector One [web] & Dune
- It take time to release the final version (heck, I was shown a very advanced preview at the STNICCC 2000 party !), but it's definively worth :)

- demo Windows Edge Of Forever by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Whaouuu :)
_this_ is demomaking.
Nice transitions, and mostly made of non easy to explain effects, a little bit like in dreams :)
Clean. Change of usual 3D stuff. I love that.

- demo Oric Quintessential by Defence Force [web]
- If you liked that one, you could now check the Oric port of the Assembly 2002 multi-platform invtro :)

- invitation Linux Windows Amiga AGA Commodore 64 Oric XBOX 360 Assembly 2002 invitation intro by Complex [web] & Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & Dekadence [web]
- Thanks Jazz. Yep I've done that this week, using a mix of the datas found in the linux version, and the C64 guys send me the animation frame.
I'm pretty happy about the interleaved field effect.

- Just to inform you, that the Oric version is also downloadable. Now if someone could modify the "platform" field for that demo, and add "Oric", that would be cool :)))
