• great stuff the combined hungarian forces did! Oswald is for sure the best "bigpixels" coder on the scene, too bad he slowed down lately... the graphics are beautiful and the effects are nice, i dont remember music much, but guess it was okay too! and there are quite some fx to watch... so what are you waiting for?

• it's actually much much better than you could expect from a group with such a name ;D
  and what's strange, it didnt won the introcompo... anyway, it's good show of not so blocky effects and it's quite speedy too. music could be much better tho, but i am satisfied... having this, the best CRG production ever.

• demo Commodore 64 Spectral by Cosine [web]
• they ripped my font! Spectral is an insight into world of speccy demos for c64 people. it contains converted speccy graphics along with remakes of famous and not so famous speccy chiptunes. its well linked and goes on good way, the graphics are converted very well, so... all in all it is nice. as an insight ofcourse - if it was a pure c64 demo i would like it just because music!

• demo ZX Spectrum The Lyra 2 by Ethanol Soft Inc
• this demo was a kick for a lot of people to start making demos. dancing girl, converted from c64, was a smash hit to compare every new animation on speccy for a long time, though for me it is not really the most impressive part, i think the swinging bottle in the lake is much more atmospheric. all in all the best effects there are animations in fact but who cares, alltogether it's an amazing piece. and an instant classic on speccy for sure!

• this is second masterpiece by ESI, megademo containing number of visually great parts and superb chipmusic. i like Lyra II better still, but this seems to be equally as great, just a matter of taste. this was also their last big speccy production, they went on to make some good stuff on quite unknown computer (which seemed to have big future back then) named Sam Coupe. so watch out for Lyra III on Sam Coupe if you are a lucky owner of this rarity or just leech the emulator... (remember - emus suck!)

• it's nothing but a screen. nice seeing for one time, then i'd delete it. TPOLM still rocks.

• demo ZX Spectrum condommed by E-Mage
• the story is silly but very enjoyable and pervert enough to make you smile! but that's not all, this demo is very well designed, it is also really long but never boring! there are many small things you don't notice at first and there are even different stuff for slower and faster spectrums. also the music by Scratcher is outstanding, along with Mental Masturbation's soundtrack it is the best breakbeat tune on speccy i ever heard. drawback is, this demo is designed for pentagon and tr-dos only, it uses irq loader and switches memory pages using incomplete addresing ($fd instead of $7ffd) so it might hang towards the end on a lot of speccies. and ofcourse, multicolor. there is a fix for some models but far less than desired, even original speccy models and so popular scorpion arn't supported.
  aye, all in all - this demo is a must to see for these who don't believe in speccy! and these who believe will scream too!

• demo ZX Spectrum Bunch Of Arse by Raww Arse [web]
• like a borntro for Raww Arse since it is their first demo. and it made well winning PHAT1 party in Latvia.
  what's there? it's small, and quite short, but well designed demo containing nice music and some nifty effects. nothing special, but then again compared to most of the ugly lores stuff coming out on speccy in 1999 (and still today) this is a definite highlight.

• i was lucky to see it at the party... 060 - ouch!! 3D stuff and great stuff too! the fish... ummm i love fishes! and the tree... animation? who cares! 320x200 looks great on amiga still! i just wonder when i will be able to see it next time?
