- demo invitation Windows NVScene 2014: The Ink Test by Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & Fairlight [web]
- I love this one, great visuals and tune. Putting a single spinning object in the centre of the screen for the whole demo is a bold move, but it works :D
Interesting looking rendering too. The way it ripples is great, but i was surprised to see long thin spikes in there without artefacts. New technique? - rulezadded on the 2014-03-21 00:00:45
- demo ZX Spectrum Mission Highly Improbable by HOOY-PROGRAM [web]
- Some parts are a bit too low res + slow to be enjoyable for me, but still really impressive for the hardware. The cube / texture mapping part was great though, and I like that end tune :)

- demo Amiga AGA Smells Like Chanel N°5 by Arise
- Yeah, I remember this being one of the earliest AGA prods. Nice design, some really nice effects (that metallic twister rocks :) and a good tune. And those lovely fades.. it might not seem like much now, but simple fades in AGA were a big improvement on what we had before, they were impressive at the time :D

- demo Amiga AGA Brain-State-In-A-Box by Cryptoburners
- Cool! Really nice tune and some good voxels + feedback zooms. But yeah, keep coders away from colour palette design ;)

- 128b JavaScript dragon punch by Ribbon [web]
- Well, it's static (I guess procedural gfx is the 'demo type' but maybe it can only be 128b or proc gfx and not both?). Still, 128b including the webpage, so thumb up :)
Btw, I tried this on both safari and chrome (seeing if it was animated on chrome :) and I see the output is subtly different. It has smoother shading (but still with the dithered look) on safari - it's like chrome renders it with 4 shades of grey instead of 256. - rulezadded on the 2014-02-27 10:09:51
- demo Commodore 64 The Serpent by Censor Design [web]
- More awesomeness from datastorm. Was it the best c64 compo ever? I mean, this came 5th, if I hadn't seen the other demos I'd have thought definitely top 3, possibly 1st :D

- If you can't do it yourself, fake it. If you can't fake it, steal a feect from the future.

- demo MS-Dos VectorDemo by UltraForce [web]
- I never saw any PC demos back then really. Everyone had amiga. But watching it now.. well, it's pretty terrible :D But putting it in context, that's how things were back then, and this is pretty cool.
