I totally understand what you say, but I really don't agree. If you combine the project with the music and the video - I feel this is totally demoscene-material. If not; in which category would you place it?
Oldschool pixels, chipsound/music(at least that was what I tried to do), made totally for sceners! If this is not demoscene-related I'm probably not a scener, which I thought I was after 15 years of partying/trying to be productive(and failed lots of times).
Anyway; I salute and cheer all of you who like this release. Thec is the genious behind it all! And what a great fellow to work with!
For me and us(darklite) - demoscene is about creating art, having fun, and get to know people(we fail lots of times on the creative part, but we still consider ourself sceners). We don't bug people(hæ?).
Watching all of those great releases by the real talents out there, and truly love it!.
