• OK, technically it's not the first demo with a fire effect, but Jare/Iguana DID invent it. Check out the Fire Demo, released in May 1993. Xography had a fire effect in their ASM93 demo (Elements) too.. but they may have taken the code from Fire Demo.

• great combination of design and effects. normally pantaloon's demos feel rushed and unfinished, but this one felt solid and well-polished... maybe his best since virtual vodka. like others have said, it's underrated.

• welcome back immortals! it appears your absence has resulted in fresh, creative effects. i liked the "not a copy" video at the end. the only thing missing is design to connect all the parts, i guess that's all that's changed over the years.

• bwahaha. i love dirty video. if you've seen vj videos like the stuff on animationtrip.com and moonshine.com, this is totally it... crossfades, raytraced spheres/chessboards, cheezy dolphins swimming in space.. even the stupid spinning logo in the corner. :) if you haven't seen any, you probably won't get it. just add the occasional loss of frame or chroma, and a "stop" indicator/blue screen at the end, and i'll be in the 90's again.. :) as always, if it's good enough for bjerte it's good enough for me.
