• p01: I've not checked the code, so I may be wrong, but the way I would have done it is to draw variable thickness patterns using the 16 colors repetitively over a multiple-screen tall area, then use sync-scrolling to smooth scroll over the picture.
  
  Then use one palette change every scan-line (or every time a new picture "pixel" row starts) to draw the little character.
  
  Same thing as the moving backgrounds/patterns in the mega-scrollers screens.

• Not bad, not sure if it was done on purpose but the second half of the music sounds like one of the Second Reality parts.
  
  And yeah the font is absolutely unreadable, which kind of is a problem if you tried to display a message :)
