- demo MS-Dos Saint by Halcyon & Da Jormas [web]
- Would have preferred it without comedy stickers all over it. Seemed to lose its way a little at the end.

- demo MS-Dos Into The Dark by Halcyon
- Thought the poetic text was actually okay in this one, it complimented the graphics pretty well.
Great design and use of camera, really sells the effects. Music is quality. - rulezadded on the 2012-07-09 19:32:06
- demo Atari STe Drone by Dead Hackers Society [web]
- Good stuff.

- 4k Amstrad CPC Clouds with Virgins in the Skies by Dirty Minds [web]
- Dithered plasmas look great. The music was kind of plodding though, had melody but no expression.

- demo Atari ST JAPAN beauties and troubles by Blabla [web] & Sector One [web] & Cocoon [web]
- Some nice refraction and normal map type effects. I like the music but not the use of photos or the scene poetry. The rolling fades on the photos were cool, though.
There were too many colours. - isokadded on the 2012-07-08 03:08:05
- 96k Atari STe Blackbird by The Estate

- 64k musicdisk Amstrad CPC Outer World Music by benediction [web] & HOOY-PROGRAM [web]
- Wow CPC is the most user friendly machine from the 80s. Who'd have thought RUN "OWM" would just work?
Awesome zik disc, am enjoying it as I type. - rulezadded on the 2012-06-17 00:19:25
- demo BBC Micro Demo 128 by The Master [web]
- Oops, by hblank interrupt I meant raster interrupt :)

- demo BBC Micro Demo 128 by The Master [web]
- Can't believe I never saw this before. I suppose I was excited about being involved in the CRTC demo and this one passed me by. The beeb gets so few demos and to have one full of classic effects is just great.
Some of the effects are kind of slow but I suppose this could be explained in part by the ugly pixel packing scheme used by the video hardware. It's a very simple tapped shift register system, no equivalent of a VIC, the colour bits for each pixel are packed interleaved within the byte so in a 4 colour mode you'd have 4 pixels in each byte e.g. 01230123, rather than the more friendly 00112233.
There are no sprites and no hblank interrupt. Text characters are drawn in software in all but the teletext mode. Awful. - rulezadded on the 2012-06-13 02:00:18
