- 64k Windows television blue by Headcrash [web]
- This one's kinda minimal, but it has some interesting design ideas. I like it. I recommend watching it in high resolution (1024x768 or so).

- 64k Windows discoranger doublemint by unik [web]
- Very nice looking, due in part to smooth framerates, good lighting, and simple textures.

- demo Windows E-Strange by Haujobb
- Pretty badass, but 27 megs? 27 #$%ing MEGS?%$!?
Nagz has another hit song, but the PC scene shouldn't let one guy do all their music work (remember Dune, Distance?) - rulezadded on the 2001-11-04 22:00:19
- demo Windows fr-015: la sculpture by Farbrausch [web]
- OK, I became a big FR fan after FR-08, but now it seems like they're just moving a camera around a 3d scene and hitting jump/blur/vibrate effect buttons every so often. It takes cues from both FR-06 (the mini-scene boxes) and FR-12 (that ugly font :). But you may find it a bit whimsical, especially with a bongo-drumming alien.
Props to Nagz for the good
soundtrack. Critikill has a decent pic or two in there as well. - isokadded on the 2001-11-04 21:29:28
- demo Windows De Profundis by kolor [web]
- Some very nice modelling, and the music is cool, but single 3d world demos with camera changes every 4 beats are going to get tiring after a while. But as it usually goes, I admire the work and the details they put into it. Wish it had a little more of a storyline or object movement or in-between 2d effects/pics or something.
For those who have fullscreen problems, change your page-flipping mode under OpenGL Settings to Block Transfer (mentioned in the info). - rulezadded on the 2001-11-04 21:20:42
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS behind the flute by Traktor [web]
- Despite the jab against the PC scene, I love this demo. No fancy effects (it runs on ECS video), but the fast-paced design and oldskool techno-rock music own me. Sadly, if you're running it on WinUAE, it crashes after the "Amiga school?" part toward the end. Coincidence? You can never be sure. :)

- demo MS-Dos Suzanne Vega by UltraForce [web]
- I actually bothered to watch this years and years ago. A cartoon, a small scroller, and a 5-second looped sample. Yeehaw.

- demo Windows fr-03: untitled by Farbrausch [web]
- Would've been a very cool MS01 entry. The music rocks a lot. I like real names.

- demo MS-Dos The Jungly Kitchen by Twilight Zone [web]
- Rather silly, but that's what makes it memorable. It was the first demo to support the infamous Gravis Ultrasound (SB & PC spkr support too). Still works on my Athlon 1.4!

- demo MS-Dos Countdown by Realtech [web]
- For the time, it was a fun, useful benchmark, running up to 1280x1024. These days, it's only useful for falling asleep (the countdown is like counting sheep!).
