- 64k MS-Dos The Phascinating Nature of Cat by Digital Artists Wired Nation
- The most pointless demo parody ever.

- demo Windows fr-09: goldrausch by Farbrausch [web]
- Hey, even FC cut loose and released Soppa. :)

- demo Windows Mikrostrange by Haujobb
- Dammit I love this one. Killer graphics by Acryl all around, weird but cool soundtrack, and great-looking particles, ripples, and objects. Who wants to go fishing? :)

- demo Windows Enlight the Surreal by Noice [web]
- There. Noice deserve a thumbs up for this one. :) Every part looks great, except the slow landscape part in the middle. The music and graphics simply rule. If you don't like emphasis on effects (for some crazy reason) then maybe you won't like it so much. It could've won any Swedish party, too bad they picked Assembly 2k and got 9th. :)

- demo Windows Chrome by Damage [web]
- First time I watched it, I didn't like it as much as En Haluaisi Olli, because it didn't have as big an impact. But now, I like it better (no confusing Finnish lyrics ;). So, IMO as well, it's Damage's best. Quality all the way.

- 64k Windows lost vegas by Threestate
- Some find it boring, but I like it. Good mix of "minimal" design with unique effects. The TV tree is one-of-a-kind. Distance's music helps it out too. BTW, be sure you have "fog table emulation" enabled in your D3D setup, or else the "mass media" part may not work.

- demo Windows Broadband by T-Rex [web]
- This is probably the best demo to come out of Russia. The design gets a bit "noisy" at times, and it seems a little like a commercial ad, but overall it's a high quality release that should not be missing from your collection.

- demo MS-Dos Dragon by Kosmic Free Music Foundation [web]
- A little background info.. this demo was supposed to be The Party 5 entry from Kosmic, but it ended up being neither. After some confusion (including another Kosmic TP5 entry which was never released) it missed the party altogether and GooRoo released it under his own name (read the info). Still, there are a few decent parts, and the music by Khyron will satisfy any boom-boom demo-techno fan. But some of it's a bit cheesy, especially the ending :). Worked ok under my P2/Win98 box.

- demo MS-Dos Splendid by Excused
- Argh, sorry I couldn't get a screenshot, but the demo only runs in 15-bit color mode, and NVidia no longer supports it. :( From what I remember, it had good music and a couple 3d scenes with good human animation.

- demo Windows antisectic by Move
- Wow, very different opinions.. I'll just give it a neutral OK. :)
Solid, consistent design, but nothing really interesting. Still, I'd rather see this than a 10-hour 3d engine quick hack job. - isokadded on the 2001-06-26 14:20:19
