- demo MS-Dos Luminati by Tran
- Sorry, couldn't get a screenshot (actually, couldn't run it under Windows. Give it a try, you might be amused). The third in the series, if you want to call it that. Music by Basehead.

- demo MS-Dos Ambience by Tran
- The first demo to use Tran's freakish 21-bit, 100hz VGA mode. So if the demo itself doesn't fry your brain, the screen flicker will. :) Music by Ryan Cramer.

- demo Linux MS-Dos Windows Dreamcast GamePark GP2X iOS Playstation Portable Timeless by Tran
- The first of Tran's esoteric screensavers. It runs in 56hz, get the fix to run it at 60hz.

- demo MS-Dos show by Majic 12
- Bah, this entry needs more/better screenshots!
Just plain classic. It took everything that was good on the Amiga, and made it better for the PC. For a while, nothing else came close in style. I sincerely hope it makes it on the DemoDVD. :) - rulezadded on the 2001-06-19 01:25:43
- demo MS-Dos Unreal by Future Crew
- Like moT, this was the first "megademo" I'd ever seen on the PC (I'd seen smaller stuff before). So when I downloaded more demos, I was hoping they'd be even better than Unreal (and for a while, I was let down).
v1.1 is more compatible and even works on some modern machines (textures part is WAY too fast), but if you're a fan, find v1.0 and give it a try. It has a longer scroller in the first part (2 scrollers arguing with each other!) and the infamous "let's kick some balls" line which was replaced in v1.1.
Watching this demo on the bigscreen at Mekka/Symposium 2001 was a great oldskool experience, and did the demo great justice since it was only shown on a small TV at ASM92, AFAIK. - isokadded on the 2001-06-19 01:18:50
- 64k MS-Dos Drift by Wild Light
- God, it was such a Future Crew wannabe. For some reason I could never love it as much as others (my fave asm95 intro was actually Nation 0).

- 64k MS-Dos hplus by Halcyon
- Hmm. Well I'LL give it a rulez. :) I don't always like the flat-shade/particle artsy stuff, but this one just works. And no dumb poetry to get in the way. :) Use headphones, or turn up the music enough so you can just barely hear the dissonant chords in the music.

- demo MS-Dos shad by Cocoon [web] & Syndrome [web]
- I'm just trying to catch up to fractalgp in glops. :) But of course I like this demo a lot. Not for the faint of heart.

- 4k MS-Dos Animate by Schwartz
- Ah, it's a classic. At the time, only Heaven matched it in 4k quality.
I wonder why you made two screenshots of each scene.. 1 of each would've done just fine. :) - rulezadded on the 2001-06-19 00:49:47
- demo Windows Kosmiset Avaruus Sienet by Haujobb
- Good stuff. It basically looks like a big MFX tribute, with clips mixed in from various demos. I think that "elk" you saw was the cow from Vihreat Lehmat (that's what it seemed like).
