- demo MS-Dos Smackdown by The Dennis Courtney 5
- As the beginning says, this demo was made in QuickBasic (with some add-on libs). Should work under Win95/98. More info at www.dc5.org/smackdown.html . Oh and BTW, I made the entire thing myself. :)

- 64k Windows event horizon by Netilium
- For raytracing fans only. My faves are the "volcano" scene (spitting out raytrace balls!), the ball bouncing off walls, and of course the walking yellow doggie thing. :) Pleasing to hear & watch.

- demo MS-Dos Super Television by orange
- Why do people think that all coasters are realtime? :) This one's an animation, just like the one in Switchback (see my comment for "Toasted"). Frank added a hand with animations in many Orange demos (and they're all pretty good).

- demo MS-Dos Toasted by Cubic Team & $eeN [web]
- Canonball: The roller coaster in Switchback was an animation. This one is realtime. Big difference. :)

- demo MS-Dos Television by orange
- Nice collection of colorful 2D effects and FSOL-style soundtrack from Dune. From what I remember, it ran full speed on a 486/33, because it used weird tweaked VGA modes like 320x120.

- 64k MS-Dos/gus sea robot of love by orange
- Yep, a classic for me. :) The "TV" style was a huge refreshment from all the phong object intros of the era. And of course, I can't forget all the funny sayings at the bottom, that people would write on IRC for months :). BTW, you have to add "-o" or something like that (check the doc) to avoid the default 50hz mode.

- demo MS-Dos Great Lovemachine Pope by The Planet Of Leather Moomins [web]
- It's an "oldie", just the 2nd major demo by TPOLM. But, they were already taking on their unique style (just see the ending :).

- demo MS-Dos/gus Superman Fantasies by The Planet Of Leather Moomins [web]
- Advertisement: You can get the patched version of this demo (and the last 3 TPOLM demos I entered) that will run on Pentium II or faster right here.

- 64k MS-Dos/gus Linda Won't Sleep With Me by The Planet Of Leather Moomins [web]
- It's 64k, but it won the demo compo at TSP96 - it was the only entry. :)

- 4k MS-Dos/gus Shapeshifter by Chrome
- The first 4k intro with a realtime sound synth/filter. I guess that's why I went nuts about it and gave it a ****+ rating on Hornet!
