- Thumbs up for the inventive CSG geometry, looks very nice with the lighting and maintains a relatively admirable performance!
There's not much else about this though. The synth is promising but quite half-baked at this stage, frankly. I was surprised you went ahead with is already. Lack of a strong musical foundation makes it difficult to ground any meaning into the sequence of abstract shots, which is the achilles' hell here. Everything looks pretty, but does it mean anything beyond that? - rulezadded on the 2020-05-27 15:38:12

- i don't like the stuttering but the organic visual patterns and the smooth noise sounds are great as ever

- demo Windows Track One by Fairlight [web]
- i still kinda dislike the statically lit barely shaded "bad PS2 prototype graphics" looking 3D parts, but ultimately this has remained quite enjoyable over the years
the soundtrack still left much more potential to explore tho, but i get it =) - rulezadded on the 2020-05-06 21:33:15
- 64k Windows Meet The Family by Fairlight [web]
- lots of cool tech but conceptually uninspired, and a lot of design choices here—like the jumpy animation and white noise applied to camera—are some of the most horrible things i've ever had to endure in a demo
also one of the worst tracks from reed ever, among the very few i kinda actively don't wanna hear
sorry, this was only really impressive in that brief moment in 2006 and an antithesis of enjoyability since then - sucksadded on the 2020-05-06 21:27:10
- 64k Windows Che Guevara by Fairlight [web]
- clearly some balancing issue wrt content here... a lot of things look severely under developed and lacking here, like the complete lack of environment geometry beyond the limits of the park, and very strange camera and pacing (again...), but there's some really pretty rendering here like the tents in the beginning, and the music is obviously solid
my favorite technical detail to nitpick is the selectively applied static directional (i mean, "motion") blur in the rollercoaster sequence =) - rulezadded on the 2020-05-06 21:16:50
