- keops: trust you to totally twist the entire perception of the point. Yes, you're right, to say: "Atari Falcon scene should put all demo production on hold, until they create an emulator." is absurd. It was meant to be, simply to draw attention to the fact that the mighty Falcon has no real emulation yet. If you knew a little more than basic English or your communication skills were better, you'd know that to say something like that is actually called a "false intensifier". It's a common technique in language and communication, look the term up - it's not supposed to be taken literally and/or personally as you and others here seem to have done. Sad.
The REAL point of my comments stand, which are:-
1. Emulators are beneficial to a platform's general productivity
2. For most, they are more convenient
3. they can be used hand-in-hand with real hardware and do not necessarily mean the demise of a system's usage.
4. The Falcon, due to it's awesomeness should have one. (FFS, even the Dragon computer has an emu)
5. and this is the important one: Keops is obviously a 'tard - isokadded on the 2008-01-08 01:54:21

- lol, touchy Atari sceners.
you guys are just angry because I own one of your rare Falcons and never even bother to boot it up! :D
anyway, I'm glad the real scene (ie: Amiga), has a fully developed emu. When Falcon gets one, then you guys can look forward to high quality prods like StarStruck :)))) Until then you can continue feling inferior and get upset when people mention common-sense ideas

- para: videos for oldschool prods are not very nice, especially when an entire dot/pixel routine disappears due to compression :)

- keops: well, I actually own a Falcon, but emulators are more convenient than having to boot-up the real thing. they also make development more efficient/productive. so they're a good thing to have. i generally filter all productions for my Amiga/Atari Ste through an emulator first. If the prods a gem and deserves to be run on the "real thing" it will have its day ;)
just think the Falcon is such a great system and really deserves a proper emulator already. - isokadded on the 2008-01-07 02:54:03

- Atari Falcon scene should put all demo production on hold, until they create an emulator. Falcon has to be the only system in the world that is not yet emulated! :(
