- game Commodore 64 Immensity - Revision 2014 Edition
- hArDy: As far as I can see, none of those games you linked have the fast-paced smoothscroll action that makes this so great.

- demo Amiga AGA Serenity by Elude [web]
- Good ambience. What Slummy said about the clipping (at least there is no near-z popping this time).

- game Commodore 64 Immensity - Revision 2014 Edition
- This is so awesome. I can't help but think what would have happened if a game like this had been released back in the days. Unbelievable what you are able to cram out of that old machine. :-D

- The discussion here reminds me of the one for an earlier procedural graphics entry. I wonder if it will go on for just as long. :)

- 1k intro Amiga AGA Submissive Retrogression by Sonik Clique [web] & Nesnausk! [web]
- Only entry in the compo with an effect worth talking about. And it has a nice texture as well for a bootblock. Music is not bad either (repetitive, yes, but that fits the genre).

- 1k Amiga OCS/ECS Coppernicus by Traktor [web]
- The visuals give me strong associations to incorrectly set modulo/datafetch, but it is nice to look at when you get around to accepting that it is actually meant to be that way. :)

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Negative FX by Reality
- Very entertaining demo, clearly best in compo.

3 minutes to generate, hm I can't visualize the code for that :D
The synth uses phase modulation with decays on all parameters, so that requires several high-precision multiplications per sample.
But actually, most of the precalc time is spent on the graphics. The spiral is drawn as parametric curves (which are then blitter filled), and the sample points have to be close enough to leave no pixel gaps. For simplicity (every bit counts, you know), each line of the other patterns have the same number of sample points as the spiral. :) - isokadded on the 2014-02-24 17:43:25
- 1k Amiga AGA Amiga OCS/ECS Block Boot by Scoopex [web]
- Nice bootblock, but watching Tetris bricks form a perfect row, which then does NOT disappear, just feels so utterly wrong. :)
