- demo Windows Spin by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- i dont get the naysayer comments and thumbdowns here. the visuals are brilliant and fitting the soundtrack very well.
and just for some constructive feedback on the sound side:
you might want to check the song frequency spectrum next time. even foobars simple spectrometer shows you how much volume there is in the lower frequencies.
which should explain why it sounded so awfully with those bigass speakers at the party, so that you could hardly hear anything else except beat and bass.
to conclude:
this is a great production. period - rulezadded on the 2011-08-08 16:59:26

I take the cancelling as an insult to the sceners, it's like denying all the hard work did smash & gopher to create this intro and for me it sounds like "we don't care about the crap they did, let's put everything in the same compo" :(
rez: i wouldnt say that.
for once its not the orgas fault that there were too few entries.
and also we were not forced to submit it to the demo compo.
its even the opposite i'd say, they actually did care about that 64k a lot and orgas were very understanding and supporting when we still had that nasty crash on the compo machine (even waking them up to check another version was no big deal)
we of course could have saved it for another party. but you cant be sure a 64k compo would actually happen there (might lack entries as well).
also in the end we were sort of curious how it would end up in the demo compo amongst its big brothers ;) - isokadded on the 2011-08-07 20:25:02

- i do confirm not using any samples, just the size stated is not totally correct :)
2.5k is about the patch data size, synth core is a bit below 4k in the configuration for the intro. song data i cant remember exactly but it was something around 4k too - isokadded on the 2011-08-07 04:11:29
