- demo C64 DTV Twistro by Silicon Limited [web]
- "Everyone knows what it is.", well I beg to differ. Yes I knew this thing was a recreated C64 in a joystick, except I did not know it had all these improvements. I just started to realise that when I saw these screenshots and videos that obviously are way better compared to what a c64 can do.
But if nobody see the DTV has a c64 then that's fine with me. Just hope that people don't judge the dtv demos with in mind the c64 limitations.
Thanks for explaining the details anyway, is there any web resource you would recommend to learn more about this thingy? - isokadded on the 2010-01-28 19:31:26
- demo Atari STe Save The Earth by Defence Force [web]
- Just tested the demo with Saint (had to copy the .PRG on a blank .ST file since it does not support harddrive), and well, it does not run under saint:
- The demo uses the Cookie Jar to find out if it runs on a STe, and unfortunately Saint does not like the tos 1.06
Leonard, any chance you fix your emulator? - isokadded on the 2010-01-26 18:29:06
- musicdisk Atari STe Amiga Demo 2 by Oxygene [web]
- Nice.
Suggestion: Pressing 'N' should skip the songs that were already played. - rulezadded on the 2010-01-26 18:09:32
- demo Atari ST Techno Trance Volume Two by Bergedorfer Atari Clan
- Same level of quality as in Volume one; different ripped fonts, and different samples, almost tempted to thumbed down due to the "ST: The serious Choice ! / AS-Sound Samples on an STE ??? Don't make me laugh !" and "As usual this Sample-Demo does only work on Original ST's and not on al these STE- and KAOS-Clones !!"
Considering the quality of the rest, I assume the fullscreen routine in the bonus screen is ripped as well...

- demo Atari ST Techno Trance Volume One by Bergedorfer Atari Clan
- Ripped graphics, system font, average sample quality, ... not much to see or hear.

- demo C64 DTV Twistro by Silicon Limited [web]
- oswald: Just saying that this hardware should be renamed 'DTV' instead of 'C64 DTV'. I'm not sure how correct Wikipedia is, but when I see: "chunky" 256 color mode, additional blitter for fast image transformation, 8 bit digital sound, additional options for envelope generators, the amount of memory available even on the first models, dma transfert, blitter and super CPU mode... show me where the "C64" is.
