- demo Windows huxley idiot by Ekspert
- I should watch more demos while drunk. Then I'd release myself from that 'mainstream design' culture while thinking of them, and then appreciate more the avangarde of the 'I don't give a f*ck' while having a something deeper to say about us here a culture here through audio-visual sensory theater. Good work people. The only thing I'm sorry about here is me needing 5 years to catch up ;-)

- demo Windows DEMO2 by Ekspert
- so much effort to make it as ugly as shit yet to stay coloristically consequent to keep the style go on.. I'd watched it sober and drunk and many times over to come back to comment. Saying.. this fucking demo came with a message ;-) I love it.

- demo Windows Asahi by Futuris [web]
- That is correct. 3/4 of the demos in the competition had some 3rd party engine element. Size limit in demo category, like in the old days (crunching to max 50MB lets say) would motivate more or.. the outcome could be in smaller number of productions being released as this is designer's category these days. That's it. Designers. I believe demo without any tech/platform limitation set in a compo is becoming a race for designers not coders. 4kB is where it's seen coders masturbate to the maximum effect.. but I believe not for long as top memorable intros are already those with consistent visual design instead of black belt in math.

- demo Windows Live The Trance by Norferin
- I'm glad to see you back Zsacul. As I mentioned privately, I hope to see you at Xenium this year. Koala moment is what woke up the chat on live stream definitively. Music reminds our late 90ties parties and goa/psy trance fascination of that time. I see some compositions obviously telling me that you remember old Dubius demos.. still I also hope that this is just the beginning, I know you can code more than a rushed Unity based demo. Kudos for coming back. I want to see more Norferin in near future. Perhaps you reach out to Dr. F and Juve to bring back the original trio? :)
