Showed this to my kids. They love it!
Haha, same here, my two daughters loved it as well. :-D Actually their favorite demo so far is the "one with the strawberries" (Gaia Machina), so Approximate hereby gets my official "Recommended for Kids" certificate!
And if there ever will be a final version, they also get a CDC. - isokadded on the 2015-04-07 22:12:27
- demo Windows Ziphead by Fairlight [web] & Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- Perfect ending for a compo block full of psychedelic demos. :-D
Watched it a couple of times again at home, and I love it! It's cut so fast that I fail to recognize, let alone understand any details, which I normally don't like - but here it just works, and I guess it's not important why or how, the overall package is just fantastic! The energetic soundtrack fits perfectly as well.
Also something I can show to non-sceners, yay! - rulezadded on the 2015-04-07 22:07:34

- Really great demo which would have been among my personal top 3 in this compo - if not for the fact that the concept is sooo similar to your last demo. Hm. Still, now I'm kind of curious how the next demo in the series will look like. :-)

- I was surprised about myself that I enjoyed this demo so much. Objectively, this is so simple and has so little variation, it should be boring - but it isn't! I have no idea why, but I really enjoyed it at the party (which I cannot say about several other prods in the compo that had been played later...) and so I'm both surprised and glad it came in 3rd. Congrats!

- Love the soundtrack, the upbeat atmosphere, the pace, the effects - great demo!

- Hm. Asteroids and ship looked like wet plastic toys, and they looked *small*. Some reference that shows their intended size (assuming they were meant to be bigger than toys...) would have helped.
That, plus low framerate and a bit slow direction, makes it a piggy for me. - isokadded on the 2015-04-07 18:40:34

- What branch, noby and korvkiosken said.
Being part of a crowd of nostalgic people was kind of fun, but I won't watch the demo again. Lots of effort wasted, IMHO. - isokadded on the 2015-04-07 15:58:59
- demo Gameboy Color It Came from Planet Zilog by Phantasy
- Too many standard 08/15 effects, but the graphics and the platform are sufficient for a thumb up.

- Wonderful! Probably less crowd-pleasing than a cute Panda, but more inspiring and creative on other levels.
