- 64k Windows Upon Their Ruins by Altair
- Much of what others has pointed out about a bit hectic pace of it, but overall some really cool looking scenes and nice, classic style. The synth has some really great sounding features and while I don't know how exactly it's structured, it would seem there was a lot of focus on the architectural aspects while slightly less on the actual voice generation. The sidechain/compression sounds good, the reverb is (perhaps deliberately) slightly metallic so from a couple of "listen-throughs" my guess is the primary focus so far has been on getting the tooling of the synth in place. Of course, it's also a possibility that time constraints just meant a bit of a rush on the instrument creation - it's difficult to say, really. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, the synth sounds like it has a massive potential but could probably do with a bit more polish.
Overall - congratulations on a really great productions. 64k intros are just so insanely much work, so hats off for pulling it off and of course a thumb up coming your way :-) - rulezadded on the 2026-09-30 14:43:21

- This came out suuuuuper nice. And of course my compliments for the amazing soundtrack. Sounds are smooth, clean and does in no way sound like the regular 4k muisc you'd normally hear. I can highly recommend people listening to this beauty in headphones for full benefit of the delicious stereo effects. Visually, it's a beauty and makes for an awesome journey through gass fields, water, underground and back up. At least that's how I experienced it :-) Congratulations on this achievement!

- For someone without a clue how this is made, this seems impossible. There's something that obviously is interpreted by our minds as a lot of monitors in front of a big screen. There's the buildings moving. There's the light in the windows blinking, and not only blinking but in sync with the soundtrack. I mean - that's at least 5 different things - in 256 bytes. To a non-coder, this seems impossible - and probably to most coders as well :-) Super well done, and of course a huge thumbs up for this achievement.

- 256b MS-Dos The Spirit by Desire [web]
- How this was possible is still beyond my comprehension. Super cool remake of Reflex' iconic track. The "instrument" and note data alone gets me baffled as to how on earth there'd be room for even more with this insane size restriction. Well done!

- Really nice idea and interesting audio to go with it. Perhaps a bit heavy on the use of the wood texture :-)
