• Great demonstration of the concept! The subpixels seem to only be horizontal but it still looks very nice, especially with thick monochrome lines and curves. Kudos for trying subpixel dots as well though. The music is great. I'll have to try it on my DS at some point.

• Not sure if it really deserved to win the compo, but the code in the writeup was very interesting (and I'm curious what Hellmood's 1b save is :). Clever trick with the segment setting, so it looks like some more great 16/32b textmode intros should be on the way!

• On my 3070Ti and 144fps display, the 30 and 60 fps versions run at the same speed (vsynced to 72fps for 720p and 36 for 1080p). Is there some other difference in the content where it's intended to run at 30 or 60?
  
  Looked excellent on the big screen.. the different portal shapes and camera zoom are nice touches. I'm actually fine with the Revision logo in the center; the white center space complements the various palettes. The previously mentioned Elevated-esque light rays feel a bit contrived though. The music starts hitting some bad notes at that point as well. But overall, a great 8k intro!

• Despite using only the center of the screen most of the time, I found this very enjoyable. Had a good variety of effects/colors and good camera pacing with a funky house soundtrack to keep it moving along.
