Using Partymesiter 1.03. Maybe I ought to hassle for a new Partymeister for next year...

So has the compos been yet? Did my VIC-20 demo make an appearance so I can add it to pouet now? :D

even if 1280:1024 = 5:4 it looks like 16:9 on my CRT-Monitor...so i use that Resolution but switch to 4:3 if possible...so its Real_Fullscreen instead of 2 black bars on top and bottom of the screen,thats why i call this resolution 4:3

Fucking excellent party with an enormous attendance this year! Easily the best Sundown yet. Too bad I failed to finish my intro. Massive respect to the orgas and greetings to all the great people I met!

Fantastic compos, fantastic atmosphere... I have to admit that before the party I had the general feeling that Sundown had already achieved the goal of putting the UK scene on the map, and that after that there wasn't much place else for it to go. Well, how wrong can you be :-) Thankyou rc55 and everyone else for the excellent time.


...and good to see that Smash was there in spirit, with his "growing christmas tree" effect

Yeah, got back home about 10pm local time here in .nl, had to leg it all the way to the plane, they were just about to end boarding... shiiit, you do know i had to leg it with meaty's old Alienware laptop AND my own in the same bag, right? (its mine now btw w00t4moarpowah!)

Awesome party, im going to the next one for sure, and it was ace meeting everyone.

Take it easy...he told me sunday morning, that he actually fucked it up a bit and didn't show our demo during the combined demo compo. He showed it at Sunday morning then. But who cares...at least we managed to release our demo and supported a small party. :D :D :D

Oh...and...remote boozing was fun! :D

On about five occasions throughout the day, we had to ask people to stop downloading all their horse porn so we could drag down the last-minute streaming music entries from ruairi's gmail account, and I *think* we got everyone - I did try to make absolutely sure. But I'm sorry if your graphics entry got missed.

Sundown postmortem: fucking excellent. Great turnout, great people - old and new - and a crop of really nice submissions. We didn't even have to preselect anything out of streaming music, which is nice! The rest's all been said. Cheers rc55!

so THAT's the real reason why we had to stop downloading horse porn just before the compo!

Huge thumbs up to the organisers btw - it was an awesome party. The bigscreen + sound system were top notch too.

And apologies to dotwaffle.. I totally forgot about grabbing the releases yesterday morning, then remembered just after I got home. Sorry :(

smash: the intro runs on linux only and it was shown from non-orga's machine. I've seen their tools and running it from executable, so I guess no bullshiting 8) . I assume they don't want to realease it until some bugs are fixed. Maybe they want to fix some scenes as well (they were finishing it till Sunday morning). Anyways I guess they must be sleeping now.
