Under rated stuff

So what prods/groups/stuff do you think are under rated? Here is my list (and maybe I'll add some more when I can think of them)

All Equinox Atari stuff

the great demo from our friends in Fairlight called Tatsu

..and this nice intro called Heaven Seven by Exceed
Anapurna by Downtown
Lattice by Baze
Both of these are better than Tube by Baze, in my humble opinion.
Westside Twiddly by Aardbei I think it could have won at any party besides the one it was entered into. Far too many other excellent demos, like fr-019...
The Etherium by Northern Dragons It's popular here, but placed 14th in the compo? Behind 99 beers? As the discussion says, there's something wrong with that voting.

And there are others that I'll think of eventually. Activator, Heaven 7 is #2 on the charts, what are you complaining about? :-p

Tap by Satori has a cool soundtrack, psychadelic colourful visuals, and thankfully a vidcapture for poor saps like me who don't have DOS or Win9x and can't get DOSbox working. And it only has 1% popularity?

activator: Heaven Seven is underrated? How about overrated?

Tap by Satori has a cool soundtrack

Wow, satori made a demo about my (ex-)group? Didn't know that. ;)

Where does one start? The Pink Circle by Arcane, Hindun Tie Kehdosta Hautaan by Limbo, 3D Intro from Phalanx (maybe not so much underrated as forgotten), most releases from Digital UK.. I could go on for hours.

As for more recent stuff, well how 'bout Horiizontal Cool by CNCD?

I agree with Crusader and Break on Westside Twiddly and Hindun Tie Kehdosta Hautaan. Both are classics in my opinion, but are too easily overlooked.

Amiga:

Wildlife by Abyss
Most Silicon demos
Crazy Sexy Cool by Essence

PC:

Don Quijote by Frogwize
Adrenalin by Smash Designs

rainmaker/mfx: no, i think it's underrated because it needs more votes to make it to the top :)
ehm.. it fucking is on the top now.

Personally the most underrated prods are in the pouet top10: I don't value them at all.

kasparov / elitegroup

hihihi

oops, that was Tao by Satori. stupid typos.
I agree with _216_ about the top10 being overrated... I would knock everything on there off except for Heaven 7, .the .product and vip2. (and how did the.popular.demo suddenly jump two or three places? huh?)
I no longer pay much attention to the top10.

* threestate: sonnet - the least admitted 3state prod even if it's among their best
* jamm r.: birdcage - the intro nobody saw because it was -98 and it still required gus. still excellent.
* haujobb: we took the greenpill - have to say, after three years it has finally caught me. :)

The Secret Life of Mr. Black by Orange - it is a very cool production!
Leitmotiv by Lunix is among my all-time favorite demos. It's very exciting to watch and has a very unique visual style. Plus, it has software rendering. :)

melw: blargh sonnet is _overrated_
watch paradise is coming from rgba instead.
they do the same with quarter of the pre-rendering and looking way better.

ps, but then again, sonnet has no ugly font zooms (+ more impressive atmosphere, more details, less annoying 'scene poetry' etc.)

UZI by Extreme Command!
