I don't think the creator of that thing is reading this thread, though :P

There is a huge problem though, the author is using the wrong technology. Flash is dead, so are the demoscene.

The problem is that most specs don't really clarify how an effect works, so it's mostly guesswork unless you know the tracker inside out.

The particular effect in question was indeed not properly documented in the published specs.

PolyTracker had the equivalent of the traditional sample offset effect, plus one that plays the sample in reverse. You get the gist if you compare the replay of BUGFIX.PTM in pretty much any player with the demo. I doubt that I still have the leaked betas of that tracker, but worth looking into :)

I've noticed a few more differences which are not documented (at least not in PTMFORM.TXT), for example a volume effect after a note cut seems to reset the sample, this does not happen in ScreamTracker. So yeah, although the goal was to make a tracker close to ST3, the guts of this thing are apparently very different so making a proper conversion tool (instead of a dedicated playback routine) seems to be rather complicated. :)
Totally awesome. Finally a flash player that supports XMs etc.
Gotta implement this on modules.pl if author agrees :)

for some bizarre reason it slows down playback in firefox when you drag a scrollbar in a 2nd tab, in a cool fashion tho, kinda re-trigger like ;D
ModPlug still has problems playing cream.mod after all these years, it murders it.

Intrinsic: No false claims, please. This file is most likely just broken, because even the old MPT 1.16 from 2002 or so plays the version of Cream of the Earth I have correctly, and libmodplug is mostly based on the MPT 1.16 code. However, the last time I checked WinAmp (== MIKMOD), it still played it wrong.
i remember chopper.mod sounding way better back in the past ...
... or maybe just different. but cool anyway. :D
