Optimus, which parts specifically aren't smooth enough?
And is this only with the Trident ISA?
(what card model? If it's a TVGA9000C, it can be overclocked (using software).
https://phantom.sannata.org/download/file.php?id=23432&sid=f921e36a153266d642dcc159415c91af - enabling Trident 8900CL/D/9000C FIFO by wbcbz7 )
)
The sound card is GUS? (If Sound Blaster - better to choose 22 kHz mixing to avoid lag)
I always noticed a not smoothness (but I am not saying like it's bad, it's still good speed, just not always frame perfect) in the cube with lot's of cubes inside and next when polygon object bounces inside wide cube when the scroller goes inside cube also. But that might be me eyes, who knows. It's still smooth enough to my taste.
I use PicoGUS for sound.
Good trick with software overclock, I'll check it would be cool if I can overclock the card. - isokadded on the 2025-12-10 15:27:25

- Yesterday I ran this on a 486 Cyrix at 80mhz and intentionally tried to downgrade it with using an Trident ISA instead of VLB and it stills stands. It's mostly running well with very few parts that are not pefectly smooth. That's impressive!
