  FYI, in DOSBox-X and PCem, the low-freq "beat" sound is a regular PC speaker beep instead. You can "fix" this in DOSBox-X by adding the [speaker] config line "initial frequency = 0".

• Actual beginning, middle, and end, with sound design (kind of like a telephone ring or alarm clock at the start, followed by radio signals from another dimension, followed by buzz/static as darkness takes over). And the code looks so deceptively simple!

  So, this was made.. 20 years ago. I'm old. Well, most of us are.
  
  To "celebrate", here is some of my unused/concept art. Some were for k-wak, some were for another demo made at the same time which was released one year later as les fleurs. I also have some working stages of k-wak (project name "linedemo") but they're not that exciting.
