- demo Windows route 1066 by ukscene allstars [web]
- probably better than media error, when it comes down to it (at least, it runs much faster and takes nowhere near as long to load). if only the silly walks were animated, that would rule. :)

- demo MS-Dos Countdown by Realtech [web]
- just make sure you have Use S3 acceleration unselected in DOSBox, or else bad things will happen.

- demo MS-Dos DX Project by Realtech [web]
- works like a charm in dosbox, 640x480.. preferable to the windows "port".

- demo MS-Dos Latex by Blank
- i loved this back in the day. some cheezy/rushed-looking parts, but some good gfx and 3d effects, plus a cool "ghost town" blurred city, and keith303's songs in both parts, while very different, were both charming. i had little trouble running it through all the way in dos and win98 (dos boot), but dosbox has always crashed after a few parts (usually after the one in the screenshot). if anyone scores a complete run in dosbox, do share your settings.
i could swear i commented on this before, but i think pouet lost a bunch of comments at some point. - rulezadded on the 2007-09-01 04:10:03
- demotool Linux MS-Dos Windows Open Cubic Player by Cubic Team & $eeN [web]
- i got some good use out of this player before until i finally switched to modplug then xmplay. along with all the neat scopes and analyzers, i really appreciated its intelligent sample downsampler.. especially while i still had a 512k gus! it even supported sid and mp3 later on, making it one of the few dos players for each.

- good one! reflective high res metablobs always impress.

- 4k Windows Scarecrow by Fairlight [web]
- i hit esc before it ended, so i guess not. is it supposed to vibrate wildly like that?

- demo MS-Dos Xamen by Solid
- short, but not all that bad and not a disaster like getting 32nd place out of 32 would normally suggest. somewhat in the old tpolm/halcyon/coma vein. word of warning: in dosbox, goes way too slow when cpu is set to auto.. set it to dynamic or full instead.
