• FYI I knew the graphic modes of the CPC, the number of colors , the amount of RAM and guessed the number of clocks cycles per VBL ( half that of the ST ;) ), but I know nothing of the HW registers and how often they can be poked.

• Thanks a lot guys! I more or less started on CPC 464 and 6128 when I was ~7yo but was way too young to fiddle in assembler and seek such information. It's only when I moved to STf/e and reach the age of 12 that I started to go assembler style and code for real ( synchronized code and the likes )

  Does the address of the screen have to be on a special boundary ? ( e.g. 2, 4, 8, 256 bytes )
  
  Can anyone point me to some HW infos about the CPC : instruction set and cycle, number of clock cycles per VBL, usefull addresses ( resolution, screen, palette, ... ). This demo got me curious about the CPC.

  That explains most of the effects then ;) and makes me wonder all the more why there hasn't been such prod on CPC before.
  
  That being said, From Scracth is a great, clean and smooth prod. Good job guys.
