- demo Commodore 64 Driss - 1st demo III by Smash Designs [web]
- If you're expecting Stash C64, like Second Reality C64, well no, not even close. Especially not the first part which I'm guessing is intentionally bad.

- intro MS-Dos noblesse by Amable
- Good music, not too much visual activity but it's laid out very well. Some nice gfx too. Too bad the asm97 intro compo/voting was f'ed up and it got last place!

- demo MS-Dos Gloup by Popsy Team [web]
- If you're expecting VIP2 quality, don't. Deserving of its 8th place (it's DOS btw, not Windows)

- demo Windows pølser plørre
- If you're making a demo, and you're feeling bad about it and are about ready to give up and delete it, watch this demo. You'll feel better.
Seriously, it takes SKILL to made a demo this bad. But I had a good laugh. - sucksadded on the 2003-01-04 16:43:00
- 64k MS-Dos/gus Genia by Remal
- Aside from that annoying Gravis logo (looks like someone wanted a free soundcard :) this is quite an amazing intro for the time, with lots of effects and music (GUS MIDI patches). The strobe-synching in the endpart is overdone, but everyone does it these days.

- demo Windows Virus by Starlight
- Didn't quite want to run here. Waited a few seconds, got some music, waited a few more seconds, got a screen with the group name, waited 10 more, got another frame, then gave up and had to hard-reset. Guess I'll have to wait for the final. Athlon 1400, Win98, DX8.1, 512MB, GF2Pro, Det41.09.

- 4k Windows faktoid by T$ [web]
- Very creative, but it's sneaky how they managed to fit all the "graphics" (hint: look at the requirements in the info file)

- demo Windows Daydreamer by Fairlight [web]
- Now that I upgraded my NVidia drivers, I can *finally* watch this thing! Nice, soothing visuals and music. But, never, NEVER, end a demo with a still picture! (unless it has your group name or says The End or something :) A few parts were a bit slow on my Athlon1400/GF2, but oh well.

- 4k Windows raumwerk by Black Maiden [web]
- Heh, "My Room" 2002! The blinds were a nice touch.. but the music could use a little better quantization.

- demo Windows Planet Loop by MadWizards [web] & Nah-Kolor [web]
- Ah, been waiting for Madwizards' first PC release after all their great Amiga PPC demos over the past year. A very good debut. I finally upgraded my Detonator drivers, just to watch it! Some 3D parts kinda remind me of FR/Neonray/Throb stuff (and Nah-Kolor stuff too, of course), but overall it's definitely in the MaWi style. Thanks for providing some post-Xmas quality that The Party could not provide.
