• It's true that winape32 video recording is awful sometimes. I remember this buzz. Also, many of the codecs it provides will record a video with wrong colors or bad file. Anyway, I recorded the voxel1k the same way, but I am not sure if I had the sound disabled (that's the way to not have the buzzing for such intros that don't have sound). Also, the version that says Microsoft RLE video worked fine for me.

• DOS demo is more a thumbs up these days from me. Graphics are colorful, font is big, rotozoomer is nice. But too many cycles in dosbox to make it smooth. I would try it on my 486sx and see :)
