• An early VESA VGA demo, and as such it's really picky about the video card. The NFO says it was made with a Cirrus Logic card, and that's the only card I got it to work with so far (in PCem). It runs in 640x480x256, but doesn't have much in the way of effects, and from what I saw, some take up a tiny fraction of the screen.

• As VLA's effect-with-source-code releases go, one of the better looking ones. Inspired by FC's Asm'93 invitation intro.

• Thumbs up for flipping the DOS screen upside down (full 180 deg rotate) at the end! (just run the included umdreh.exe to do it anytime) They just forgot to move the cursor to the top. :)
