- Yes, you really went a bit overboard with the blur and those massive overlays. Can't understand why - most demos with so much blur are trying to hide some low poly models or weak textures. But that's not the case here, as far as I could tell. That issue aside this is still a very, very solid production with enjoyable music!
I really can't remember the last time I've seen such a great demo competition with so many great contributions. Maybe I've to go back to the years 1996 or 1997 when groups like Orange, CNCD, Bomb, Pulse, Oxygene etc. battled for the crown... - rulezadded on the 2007-08-07 00:17:49
- demo Windows Sokuseki by xplsv [web]
- Wait a minute... this one ended up on 15th place? Thats a shame because it's a really beautiful production! I digg the minimalistic style...
Perhaps this was just a bit to short and didn't go well with the Assembly TV stream. Otherwise it would have ranked higher... - rulezadded on the 2007-08-06 23:57:01
- demo XBOX 360 STS-06: Microdots by Synesthetics
- Yeah, like others said: "We cell" and even "Protozoa" had a bit more variety in the effects and the general pace of the demo... but otherwise, this really is a high-energy-awesome-looking-demo! Great stuff! And yes, win port would be awesome! :-)

- demo Windows The Inner Flame by Adapt [web]
- Me likes:
- music
- flow of the demo
- the swarm
Me does not like so much:
- very low poly
- duration of scenes
- missing variety
So a piggy for now but I think this group has quite a lot of potential - improved direction and a bit more polish would lead to great true winner demos. - isokadded on the 2007-08-06 19:36:31

- I tend to agree with those who complain about the lack of coherence in this demo. Otherwise those two "trademark scenes" shown in the screenshot really kicked ass. This is without doubt the best water effect yet - so thumb up from me!
Any chance of a Win port like Conspiracy did?? - rulezadded on the 2007-08-06 16:20:06

- "Someone should make a demo entirely based on explosions - really delve into it."
This sounds like a job for Mfx, regarding "Aether", "Deities" and "Torpedo" :-) - isokadded on the 2007-08-06 14:08:51

- What ryg said. Perhaps three groups was a bit too much for one demo?
But I'll give you my upthumb for the city and the smokebox...

I too had some performance problems (8600 GTS)during the scene with the guy reaching for the heart. Maybe this is some driver issue, because the new Stravaganza demo also runs fine on 6800 and as a slideshow on Geforce 8.
The rest of the demo runsvery smooth it's just in this single scene.
I already thumbed this up but let me say it again: this is one for the ages! <3

- demo Windows Tivi by Dope [web]
- Really enjoyed this. The dancing TV-girl (?) is a bit cheesy but I liked all those references, especially the mighty shiny chessboard!
