- Killer effect that could stand on its own for 4+ minutes with proper buildup and camera work. Too bad it got kinda wasted here :\

- Just had a super quick look at the code.
Oy! I lost count of how many times you switch between using the 2D context and the ImageData. Stick to your guns! For this kind of render I would definitely precalc the "snake" thing ( you could precalc it for each rotation with the R & B components and add the G one in ctx.globalCompositeOperation="lighter" ) and the colorful string of the scroll text into another Canvas and turn this all into a 1000 ctx.drawImage(precalcCtx,...) party.
I like the idea of the two Audio elements and setting their src to b+p+p+p+p+p+p+p... :)

- Neat.
Thanks for the greets ;)
Btw, you can save 3 bytes by using 'hsl(40,70%,'+z+'%)' and getting rid of the {} of the for loop by shoving all the stuff that is before the second for loop into its init.
Also there must be an easier to generate/draw that shape. ...maybe by doing the opposite of what you do now: drawing the holes in the archs with low opacity rects. The idea is to end up with something like this:
Code:w=V.width|=s=Math.sin; for(Z=77;Z--;) for(X=w;X--;) fillRect(X,computeY,.1,computeHeight)
Also I would just "stretch" the angle used in the Math.sin() in function of the x and z.
Hope this all make sense :p - rulezadded on the 2013-09-15 23:32:03

- 256b JavaScript TEA STORM by Ribbon [web]
- Thank you!
In case you feel like fiddling with this tea cup sized storm, here are a few things you can adjust easily:
- the speed in the t-=.1 part
- contrast in the N=4 and N-=.1 parts
- precision in the .1<d*N part
- the speed in the t-=.1 part
