- demo Windows Zcareplex Mk 5 by Nuance [web]
- As said, seems ugly in some parts, too much 0x000000 backgrounds, low quality textures from a near view.
The synch, ideas and overall directions seems quite good, aswell the music.
good work here! - rulezadded on the 2010-04-07 19:27:44

- Impresive!
I'm still laughing as remembering that scream from someone of the public, when describing the Mhz speed adjustment,... "WHAAAT!!?" - rulezadded on the 2010-04-07 19:17:19

- demo Windows Agenda Circling Forth by Fairlight [web] & Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- Nice fomulas.
Impresive!!
Negative points, personally:
Just for pushing up the hardware standard. Not for impressing by optimizing and crunching for the medium actual standard.
Music seems not to fit in some moments.
The design is strange and a kind of incoherent, previsible. - isokadded on the 2010-04-06 19:59:41
- demo Windows fr-043: rove by Farbrausch [web]
- Just incredible.
This is a balanced production.
Has the typical 3d fly-by wow-factor: LIghtmaps,self-shadows,enviros,..
Has the brain-factor: has effects. as the real oldtimes demos, but also focusing on showing a coherence to the spectator(off-scene or scene geek) . Guessing:
Skeletal animation?
Particles distribution?
Shader smart cool stuff like the cube-lava-cube-tentaculus.
Recursive scene inmersion on rocks?
Elastic wires.
So, this is a perfect demo. Shows-off the coder habilities, and even more important has no valium-effect coz, on every transition your ager to see what cool stuff comes next.
Well,...as negative part. Yes, transitions, are soo evident and simple. A white fade...but who cares.
Perphaps, the sinus spikes does not fit pretty much well in the planet-concept. but well, if we accept this is representing the debris-cubes native planet (as heard on some of the parts in the soundtrack,...the debris distort- effect), well..it fits. And finally, in negative aspects, the lava flow, it's just ok. expecting some "heat" fx, or some sinus movement, not just a nice orange texture.
Did not saw the winner demo neither, but I consider this prod. an instant winner. - rulezadded on the 2010-04-05 20:07:44

- great effect (s), nice music.
Maybe a little lack of sincronism to break the sensation of "the-effect-flyby" - rulezadded on the 2009-12-30 20:18:10
