- demo Windows fr-036: zeitmaschine by Farbrausch [web]
- definite party demo, i wish i would've seen this one on the big screen. works still pretty well on a monitor, too. overused high saturated / contrasted colors work surprisingly well and are refreshingly different from the current mainstream. on the other hand all this flashy, glowing, glittering look is already overused. but heck, what am i complaining about when i still enjoyed watching this demo quite much.

- demo Windows the planet - the universe, part 2 by mfx [web]
- liked this more than upt1. whereas the first part lacked small details like the overlay layers (scrolling mumbo jumbo, grids etc.) this has also more continuity, with getting a closer look what's inside the universe - i could suspect the 3rd part gets already to the microspace level...
even if the whole demo is kitchy, full of 80's scifi cliches it also succeeds in creating the often missing atmosphere from ambient demos. oh yes, and the music sure rocks.
oh, and what everyone already said - bigger & better textures for the part3, please. :) - rulezadded on the 2004-01-03 10:11:47
- demo Windows libgov by kolor [web]
- judging by the comments i'm looking forward to see the video version of this demo (funny though that even r9800 isn't enough to see this demo).

- 4k Windows varus by kolor [web]
- Here's another thumb. Kolor has been always pushing the limits of 4k intros, and this is surely one milestone of that kind. It's rare to see this much content and good music in 4k's at the same time.

- demo Amiga AGA Klone by Dual Crew Shining [web]
- no comments yet? yes. the very best from dcs and one of the highlights of -99. shape needs to get his lazy ass back coding demos again. :)

- 4k Windows sca9_dh01 by Scania
- normally 4k intros lack decent music - too bad while this one doesn't, it happens to lack decent visuals. :)

- demo Windows Red Line by Condense [web] & Mandarine [web]
- had some fresh stuff (red lines \o/) in it, but ended up being a normal 3d flybye after all. funky music didn't seem to fit together with the visuals too well either. definitely not bad either, but not quite enough for a thumb up.

- 64k Windows Subversive by bypass [web] & Black Maiden [web]
- well, it's definitely a cool intro but (hint to the coder) i'll save my thumb for the final version that works also on my radeon 9800...

- demo Windows Planet Loop by MadWizards [web] & Nah-Kolor [web]
- does someone have the radeon patch available? seems like madwizards decided to demolish their website and scene.org has only the party version.
