Props for the psychadelic legoman! This is a tour de force of effects. good stuff.

Is the translucent 3d woman supposed to be masturbating, though?

Impressive, long, very good code. A real classic

Really nice demo, solid code and design. My favorite Doomsday demo along with 'Vivid Experiment' (too bad that it won't be ported to win aswell)

Good code,(for 1997) fantastic techno music from Swallow and Illusion, really jewell in the demoscene.

The music isn't quite my thing, but the code is a dream to watch. Excellent demo.

I love watching this demo on the bigscreen, the music at the wormhole part always make me shiver. This is one good demo. Thumbs way-way up!

A rock solid demo. The best demo from Doomsday, dont like the other demos from them except Vivid Experiment.

There's quite a lot of stuff jam-packed into this demo. Something for everyone!?!

This is actually one of my fav demos, and the music in some parts is quite good, even thought it varies a lot in quality should I say. I dont know why, but that legoman has some weird hypnotising effect on me... It made me crack up the first time I saw it.

Canonball: Is Bon Jovi speedmetal? Don't go calling something techno when it clearly isn't.

The demo itself is average commercial crap(tm) but some of the scenes are/were pretty hilarious (the legoman and the Finlandia Vodka bottle). Also the flow is rather consistent most of the time.

Vey very cool. I love the music, effects (especially all the feedbacks), 3D, everything. It's very clean, too.

Kudos!

Awsome effects, even for 320x200 pixels. House party music! Whoo! The music got some wicked tracks in it :)
rulez added on the 2002-05-10 03:12:27 by Cesar Cesar
i guess the effects rock, but some of the scenes are really ugly (e.g. the bottle) and the music certainly sucks.

Technically very good but for gfx+music, it didn't attract me much at its time, probably because the demo is quite dispatched with these 3D parts.

When I went to the Saturn Party 3 I sad Vivid Experiment and really felt in love with the demo group! Boost is not as surprising and delightful as Vivid but it's an amazing demo too! Different, more technical, with tons of vfx everywhere.

Doomsday for ever.

For a weird reason, I haven't thumbed up the win32 version too! Can't be happening,. I thought I commented all my favorite prods from pouet since ages and how the hell did this escaped from my mind???
rulez added on the 2003-02-11 22:57:24 by Optimus Optimus

be it commercial or not, music in this demo is awful and even annoying if you're forced to listen to such a crap for the whole demo. cause some effects look nice. anyway, i wouldnt care to thumb down this if it wasnt for the music..

Wow, I wish I would have caught this back in 97, it would have blown me away. That was just... pretty. So much going on, effects all over the place. And now I understand the beginning part of legomania :)

Nice that there's a win32-port but somehow it just doesn't feel right, it must be the original party-release, DOS and everything....... ;) (just kidding)

One of the best; probably my favourite pre-2000 demo, now in Win32!
the soundtrack is revolutionary; even now in 2006. True to the style yet also not afraid to throw in a bit of chromatisim, modulation, and polythythm.
It is great and interesting to watch, very colourful and always moving, with inside references.
thankyou for the port.
